The humanity to the character she brought, the nuance the complexity. Mack speaks on his new Star Trek: Strange New Worlds book “Ring of Fire”. Moreover, on how he had access to season 3 scripts from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds as a part of that. He also speaks on Star Trek Vanguard and how the book series went through all Star Trek the Original Series episodes. The conversation shifts to the western story TOS episode titled “Spectre of the Gun” which was shot very much like a stage play having limitations they had to work under using Dutch angles, intense colors. David gives his take on the Genesis device originated in the film Star Trek: II The Wrath of Khan. David also talks about Nicholas Meyer and his revere for the Navy Captain Horatio Hornblower with the Star Trek films red Monster Maroon uniforms.
