This episode of The Erickson Report expands on and supports the contention from last time that progressives cannot rely on the Democratic Party to deal with the issues that face us by citing three examples:
- the anemic lack of response to or even preparation for the overturning of Roe v. Wade;
- the slow progress on filling open seats on the federal courts, leaving a good possibility that a dozen openings on Circuit Courts of Appeals will be unfilled if GOPpers gain control of the Senate in the midterms; and
- the failure to act on climate change and the associated failure to hold Joe Manchin responsible for his betrayal on the issue.
